Many people seem to be of the opinion that her sentence was not just against the backdrop of his not guilty verdict.

You seem unaware that it is not an abuse of process to explore a different charge.

Lucy Connolly is now claiming she was a political prisoner .......but she pleaded guilty.

She pleaded guilty thinking she would then be allowed home to her daughter and husband.
The sentence of a slap on the wrist would be metered out at a later date.
