Two plug in ovens

Hi all. I'm redoing our kitchen and have two electric ovens which don't require electrician fitting as they're pre-fitted with 13amp plugs.
The question is, should I add another socket to the ring (only 1 available in the right area) or, would be be advisable to use the existing cooker circuit, although the current outlet is in the wrong position.

and the other on the ring would also be acceptable

No hob. That's gas. That's what i was thinking. The cooker circuit is on a 32A breaker. The current outlet is in the wrong position, would there be a problem extending with 2.5mm loop and adding the soclets to that of necessary?

No problem with that.

Not sure what you mean by loop - just a single cable will suffice.

No.

Just one 2.5mm² cable from the present cooker outlet to the first socket then on to the second socket.

That’s what is colloquially known as a “lollipop” circuit. Not recognised as a standard circuit type, but nothing particularly wrong with it. Better than extending the 32amp radial (wired in 4 or 6mm² ?). by adding a single length of 2.5mm² cable. IMO.

It will be protected by the plug fuses - 2 x 13A = 26A - just right for 2.5mm².

I thought the fuse protected the flex, not the T&E? Wouldn't I need FCUs to make sure the 2.5mm doesn't overload and the 32 MCB not trip? (Talking to meet regs, I wouldn't be plugging anything other than the two ovens in.)

Ok - but anything with a plug would be alright - as long as there are only two sockets..
