Anyone else have a ****ty life?

Mine is REALLY ****ty......

Hate it totally guys.

Been divorced 8 years. Living in shared accomodation.....divorce was my fault 100%....

Me and ex are really good friends though....

I have a 19 yr old daughter. We are super close..

But, life sucks MASSIVELY!!!!!!!!

Health issues, mental and physical....life sucks..... So many downs in life....

61 now and hate my life guys.....i try and bring some humour to the forums, i do.......you are all good, even those who are left and woke!! Lol...love you all guys....

Really sorry to hear that mate, reading that made me sad...

On the positive side you have a young daughter who loves you, thats a good reason to think your life doesn't suck....

I would suggest you seek some advice and even some treatment from your doctor initially.
The typical, Chin up, and Hold on, is useless if you're experiencing depression.
Such comments are like telling someone in a rage to calm down.
Talk to your doctor in the first instance.

Let's explore what 3 might be... Can you do a bit of light (or better) training? Physical is good for your mental- and you're far from too old. How is your routine? Can you stitch a few bits to make one? Working? Can you change jobs? If If not working, can you/are you able to volunteer once a week? Foodbanks are often in need of men- sexist but true- I often get roped into physical stuff.

hey Im really sorry to hear that, life can be pretty darn sh1t, in fact it often is.

I dont wanna kind of start giving advice, it can seem a tad patronising, but all I will say now is I totally hope happy times are around the corner.

we are pretty much the same age, I started getting free prescriptions starting July this year.

What Charlie said, keeping mind and body as active as possible is good for mental health. It sounds like you might be limited physically but just do what you can, walk as much as possibe even if it's very short walks, push yourself. Do some research on 'chair yoga', it's gentle but you will feel some benefit, and most important of all, talk to people.

Depression sucks. As does anxiety. Plus health issues, bad lower back.

It’s hard to know what to say, but you’ve spoken about how you feel and that takes a lot of guts.

I’ve had hard times in the past. But we are all different and don’t really know how people really feel.

As above, you still get on with your ex and have a daughter.

You’ve taken the first step, we will all help to keep you going and raise your spirits.

The pain will make it feel even worse.

Don't suffer in silence, self help is ok when you are feeling a bit better, but get onto your doc if you are finding it hard to cope.

Depression needs professional input, and there are many tools at their disposal. Don't by afraid to keep knocking on their door
