The Love Affair were a perfect group, 3 pop classics and they were done. Now to the 1970s: Native New Yorker by Odyssey. Reminds me of very good and very innocent times. What a sweet voice.

Today's pick from me is from the 1980s: Boys of Summer by Don Henley. The 1980s were a horrible time for the rock fan, the shrill of synthesisers and the clatter of drum machines were everywhere. This record, despite erm, drum machines and synths, has something great about it. This was Henley's only real hit over here, but he was a huge rock star already, as one of The Eagles. That's him singing the world into a coma on 'Hotel California'.
