Wake up people. Think about the way this country is going. Think about every synagogue now needing police protection, all because we dont protect our borders. The day will come when there arent enough police to protect us all. All I can see is the short term, is Reform are going to walk into power in the next election.

While there is a genocide being conducted against Palestinians, by Israel, it's understandable that many will feel ill will towards Jews.
It's wrong of course, but just like misguided people feel ill will towards all Muslims (including you) due to the conduct of some extreme Islamists, some misguided people will identify the actions of a rogue state with all Jews.
Violence breeds more violence.
Only a fool would support violence against one group, (or even stirring hatred against them due to the action of a lone individual) while criticising violence against another group.

There are many on here who have spoken out about yesterdays attack, yet many of those are quiet (or even overtly applaud) when migrants or Muslims are attacked.

What is your solution to protecting our borders?

My solution as I've mentioned before.

We should have implemented:

Many more sea patrols.
Many more land patrols.
Drone patrols to support the sea and land patrols.
Holding camps, basic clean and safe, erected on disused airfields etc to hold those coming in not via approved routes.
Many more processing staff employed.
If return to their original country not possible, agreement with other countries that would take them.

Yes it would have cost a few billion and perhaps a few billion a year, however if implemented it would have worked.

Of course, I've typed all that knowing it wouldn't have worked. Why? Cause it would never have been approved by parliament.

Which is why we're stuffed.

We're being hoisted by our own petard.

The correct process would be suspension, and an investigation, not the lynch mob mentality of some.
The petition is wrong on many aspects.

As for Israel/ Palestine, it’s been going on for a very long time.

To provide extra protection in the UK because of Israel’s actions is not acceptable and hope Isreal is being billed.

Palestine Action protest will still go ahead after synagogue terrorist attack

This might be a bit contradictory, however although we live in a country where marches, demos etc are allowed (and thank goodness we do), when something like the Manchester attack happens, the government should put an immediate temporary ban on marches, demos etc. And I mean on either side.

Even just for a week.

One, out of respect for any victims. Two, to at least try and deflate tensions in the days following the attack.

Countries, UK included have spent the last 2 years demonising Israel, allowing protests with marchers carrying placards that read 'globalise the Intifada'.
Looks like that's beginning to happen.

Cancelling the protest march would be an understandable palliative towards the Jewish community; while sending the wrong signal that violence can affect free speech and the right to protest.

If the march organisers had had the British decency to postpone last night's protests, that would not be sending the wrong signal. It would be sending the signal that they actually care about the Jewish community in the UK. It would not have hurt their cause any to postpone the march's for a week. That would have been the right time to demonstrate that their protests are solely about Israel and not directed towards Jews in general.

They clearly don't have that level of British decency though, and can't or don't want to separate Israel from Judaism. They are clearly anti Semitic and do not have British decency or values.
