Well I agree that it couldn’t continue as it was but it was Trump that got it dealt with. He should have taken this stance sooner though in my opinion.

Freedom fighters are not an army, they're small groups of like-minded people.
It's more a movement than an organised militia.

It's usual in a political vacuum. The same happened in Iraq, Libya, Syria, Yemen, etc.
I suspect it's a policy of the west to destabilise other countries and then sit back and watch the struggle for dominant ideology and government.

Any retreating occupying force has a duty to maintain law and order. But the Israelis, with American support decided to let-the-free for all to occur.
