George Abaraonye

Who cancelled Abaraonye?, my understanding is that it was him that called the motion of 'no confidence' on himself, expecting to win, but the daft bugger lost, despite attempts to intimidate those working on the count.

He's history.

Who cancelled Abaraonye?

All those who voted against him.

Morqthana seemed quite close to him.

I'd never heard of him.

Me?, I'm delighted he's gone.

So you don't agree with the Chancellor of the university?

You don't agree that cancellation culture towards speakers that we disagree with is absolutely wrong?

no-one advocates free speech more than I

it's a free country, we have free speech

When JD Vance said "In Britain and Europe free speech I fear is in retreat", you wrote
Music to the ears of believers in free speech.

Presumably when you posted this:
You did so because you liked it, as it said things like
Staff "have an untrammelled right to say and believe what they think,"
and students shouldn't "just expect to hear their own thoughts reflected back at them"
and "I'm really concerned that we have masked protesters putting up posters calling for the sacking of somebody for exercising her right to articulate her views."

Whilst I think some of the stuff you come up with is a little bit mental, there are one or two valid points hidden therein, frankly I'm more concerned about the people that jump on every word you say without question. That's supressing free speech.

Wether I agree or not, crack on, as is your right, anyone who disagrees with that is a bit of a fascist and a highly questionable person.

It's almost as if when you say you believe in "free speech" you mean you believe in free speech you agree with.

What's free speech got to do with celebrating an opponents death?

Seems like he's refusing to accept the result, sitting it out whilst he appeals the vote. WAFC.
