Normal people do wish death in child murderers. Whatever method works is fine by me. The more painful the better.

no normal mature adults realise capital punishment is not a solution, it is why civilised countries ended it

Murder is murder, I don't see that there should be a hierarchy of acceptability when it comes to taking a life.

One of the 3 accused, was inside for strangling his 56 year old female neighbour for £60, he later went on to sue the government for compensation after another prisoner attacked him, claiming his human rights had been breached! (The irony)

Another one is inside for sexually assaulting teenage girls.

I am absolutely opposed to the twisted idea that justice should be dealt by fellow prisoners, and I would ask the philosophers on the board to explain the moral basis for it?

It is inevitable though, given the lack of control in our prisons, and the soft justice system that should be hanging child killers not jailing them.

Also, any prisoner who has children of his own is guilty of child abuse, by the fact that he is in prison and not with his children.

Someone on the panel asserted they shouldn't be housed in hotels or places likes barracks, inferring it's not morally right. However when the host asked 'where should they be housed then?' the panel member kind of fell silent i.e. no answer.

The question "where should they be housed then?" is very unfair and designed to make the panelist feel guilty and at a loss.. The panel member has no moral duty to house the immigrants, and also no moral duty to suggest a place where they should be housed. The immigrants have no claim on any of us and he is perfectly right to not want them in the country. The whole situation is an imposition by our hostile governments.

Saying: “I don’t want them in this country” doesn’t alter the fact they are here and residing in hotels.

If a person doesn’t want them in hotels, then he needs to come up with the alternative.
