I live in a 1937 bungalow and am finding cold areas with mold spots developing. In particular, the press in the living room wall is deep and I guess the back of it is against the outer layer of bricks of the house. So there is no insulation and it gets very cold attracting moisture. Any ideas for how to improve it? Could I just cut some insulated plasterboard and stick on top? It will affect the depth but at least if will be warmer?
