when for months he has been banging on about it - how reform would remove rights - how labour are so great for workers rights. -- Look at the state of this lot----seems like a sensible change to me

how embarrassing for Aveatry, wrong again.
Labour Party have increased workers rights,
But hey don't let your blind faith and prejudice get interested way of boring facts.

I said it was a shít idea at the time and would harm business. I wrote to Kier and told him. Looks like he's just got around to reading my letter.Did Mottie ever start any threads to complain about any of these:
Call 'em what you like - I’m talking about people who employ other people and pay them. Businesses basically. Yes, those. You wouldn’t be saying that if you ran a small business, took on an employee who went sick or fùcked you around from day one and you knew you would have a world of grief and expense just trying to get rid of them. This Day 1 rights for employees is a shirkers dream come true.

6 months means we are still less flexible than many of our neighbours. Unfortunately, it will mean firing people in month 5 who you aren’t 100% on as I occasionally do in other regions.

You may not be aware, that many jobs can be done in many locations. You're trying to compare our employment rights to Europe in general ?
