May god be with you.

A lot of people compare me with jesus, I just do not believe in religion or the stories in the bible, however that said I can understand people looking on me as Jesus.
some pulpit to preach from, high up in your cherry picking bucket, would be like a soap box on steroids
it would fair limit what the na-sayers could throw at you

Muslims should not be in Britain. Jews are fine, they do not cause problems and are not parasites on the rest of us like the muslims are.
That is such a ridiculous thing to say.

And a generalisation.

Put your money where your mouth is and do tell us all what problems "Muslims" cause and how they are parasites.

Even thats not for sure. Its believed that no one is still alive that ever met Jesus. So no one can say for sure
Well, we can ascertain from his birth place and being most likely similar to the other middle east ppl at the time.

How long have you not been to Sunday mass?
I go half hour early to get a seat.
Lots of activities during the week too, 100% not religion related (Bingo, cake making, youth club, etc.)
Recently I've been on a few weekends away and everywhere all Sunday masses were packed with people of all ages.
Go see for yourself.
I was speaking in general, many younger folks have moved away from the Church.

You might see it in your area, but overall across UK, Christians are less and less focused on religion and the Church.

I thought churches were complaining of falling numbers attending.

It's a bit above your level.
Have you considered that it might be way, way , below?

Start with the garden of eden and Adam's rib - oh, it never happened. We discovered Evolution.

Religions are for self-important simpletons who want an off-the-shelf morality.
We now know it's nonsense, like flat-earth ideas, and phlogiston ideas etc etc etc.
Understandable in our eras of ignorance, but pathetic now. And as we all know, many are very unpleasant - including christianity. Ask a Crusader what it meant for that lot. Or a Bosnian who had different flavors of christians having a go. Or Northern Irish - all christians blowing each other up.

Christians are like supporters of one football team
They try to say that non-fantasisers/believers have non-belief as a religion.
Nope, I just don't have a fantasy, like I don't follow football.

Believing in any twaddle is not necessary, useful, or right, clever, or worthy of respect. Scum of the Earth?

Thanks Himmy, but what is the net figure when you consider all the money they take in welfare?

Not to mention the costs of security required because they are here?

And 1001 other things.

It is a myth that immigration boosts the economy.
What a ridiculous post.

Not even worthy of an answer .

Thanks Himmy, that is a classic reply.

You could also have said "those figures are not available" (a la the grooming gangs).
You can search fully yourself, but here's a snapshot from gov.co.uk/ Google

The ethnicity that claims the most benefits in the UK is White, which accounts for the highest number and percentage of Universal Credit claimants. As of January 2025, 76.2% of Universal Credit claimants were from the White ethnic group.
By numbers: White claimants are the largest group. In January 2025, there were 4.4 million White claimants.
By percentage: The White ethnic group makes up the majority of claimants at 76.2%.

For an answer I would look at civilizations who embraced Islam or were forced into it.
Egypt...from the Pharaoh to...
Afghanistan...from centre of culture and education to...
Iran...from being the Switzerland of the middle east to...
All of North Africa...from highly cultural and traditional peaceful tribes to...
Pakistan...(...)
Etc., etc., etc...
I thought churches were complaining of falling numbers attending.
They will always do...they need (want) more and more money.
Wherever I go I see churches full.
Only in Italy, strange enough, churches seem to be half empty, probably because there's one every few hundred yards.

And that's a big part of religion.

Property owning, money making.
Agree 100%
That's why I always say: the church is not the Vatican, the Pope and its cardinals, it's us, the people who gather in the name of Jesus Christ to worship God and do good for us and others, without any financial gain or interest.
