Garage Roller Door, slides back down after opening

Hi All, appreciate your time.

My motorised garage door will roll back down after opening, sometimes half way and sometimes a few inches. I think I need to re-tension the spring by supporting weight loosening u Bolts and and tensioning by rotating the bar with Stiltsons?

I'm fairly handy but is this something I should get a pro to help with?

Drops half way sometimes before it stops itself.

I've never seen a motorised roller shutter type door, using counterbalance tension springs.

Brake not working?

A photo of the mechanism may help. Mine is just an electric motor, turning a gear on a drum to wrap up the door slats.
