Is there a similar tool to this with wider jaws?

Have a new basin tap and it has a single large nut underneath but standard wrench is 4-5 mm too narrow.

1. Those "Shetack" style spanners are designed for back nut sizes of 1/2" and 3/4" BSP - which is not the distance between the jaws anyway.
2. If you have a modern monobloc tap with a single threaded shank, these will not fit.
3. I'd suggest you have two choices:
3.1 Go for an adjustable tap spanner such as Screwfix item 71701 OR
3.2 Measure the across the flats dimension of the supplied nut and get an appropriate sized box spanner.

Neither of those work, basin wrench does not open wide enough nor does it grip a slim nut ( around5-6mm) and not enough room for it .
Box spanner can’t be used around flexi hoses which have to be fitted first .

Use a adjustable sprung tap wrench.
Your nut is slightly bigger than normal. It happens.

As I said above.
Adjustable spring basin wrench.
It's probably the easiest of everything.
Maybe you're thinking about a adjustable wrench? No .. not that.
Never get that in
