The buyer should be made aware of a potential risk, they can decide from there. I suppose they have the option of paying the £200 if the solicitor manages to frighten them enough. As long as they're getting money from someone they won't care.

Well my thoughts were that if I was selling him a car the buyer would not expect me to insure it for him.

There's two types

Resin bound - stones mixed with resin - permeable.

Resin bonded - stones stuck on a layer of resin - impermeable.

If you can see the resin, it's permeable.

What's the type where you lay a base & membrane, then gravel, levelled and tamped, and then pour resin over it? Maybe a 2nd pour the next day.

That was the MIL's house. She's gone into a care home. My mums house is now all ready for sale and is with an estate agent and will be going on Rightmove, Zoopla etc in January.
