I'm certainly not banking on it - as I said, I have no idea about how true are the things I've heard being said - although I do believe that a very substantial proportion of people would not now use "password" because of the the advice not to do that.Don't bank on it. On those ocassions I find myself trying to gain access to something - usually a lighting control desk, radio programming software etc - password is more common than 1234 or 0000.
I am personally far less cautious about passwords than I should be (and certainly use some for multiple purposes) but, for what it's worth, have never even considered using "password"
