He is way more sensible than you give him credit for. The man is not crazy but a very cool and calculated leader, one which we should look up to and admire rather than snub him at every opportunity. If only we had a leader like that. Think on !!!

sometimes I look at him and think that too, but increasingly I think he is just a big spoilt bully

I don't know what the truth is - start off in a ludicrous position (I want all of greenland) end up getting all mineral rights (we don't know yet what he has gained)
It could be argued as a climb down, but may be he never wanted greenland, but has ended up with something he would never have achieved through normal diplomacy.

He is a difficult person to work out. I don't like him as a person, but he is far from stupid

You can’t argue with his ability to control the agenda and get what he wants. Classic storm before calm with a little clock facing.
