Probably asking the impossible here, but does anyone know of a spray, paste or product in any other form ( apart from bleach or mould killer ) which can be used to remove soap/shower gel/ shampoo stains from white silicone mastic? I fitted a shower tray last summer; the white mastic is already discoloured and if its at all possible, I would rather clean it than apply new sealant over it, or cut out the old and replace with new.

TIA

Nope - not come across anything that will remove water staining from silicone. If normal soap and water and a soft nail brush won't lift it then it's cut out and replace I'm afraid.

I thought as much, but thanks for taking the time to reply anyhow.
