Flags to be Replaced

The flags on lamp posts that have been placed everywhere by patriots are getting a face lift soon. We were due to remove them in certain areas but it has been met by a fair amount of resistance. The new proposals are to have the flags removed and replaced with plastic sign flags so that we can place them at the correct height and facing onto the pavement rather than onto the road. This should keep everyone happy as they will become a permanent fixture.

Some warning signs for the hard of thinking might not be a bad idea, especially flag shaggers that think nailing a flag to a lamp post whilst pizzed up, is a good idea.

A while ago Devon CC and Exeter CC spunked 10k attempting to remove flags, as soon as they started to remove them the boys came along and replaced them, they abandoned the idea in the interest of public safety, what a set of plonkers, they said it was making certain members of the community feel uncomfortable, well eff of back where you came from Abdul.

That's an extremely ignorant point of view.

People who were born here (of all colours, white included) have said they feel uncomfortable (to say the least) with the flags up.

Oh yes they do, Go to any other country and they fly their flags with pride, why shouldn't we fly ours with pride, why does anyone feel uncomfortable with it?
