Good Evening all,

Apologies in advance, I am getting somewhat confused regarding notifiable works under the Party Wall Act.

For a driveway extension within 100mm of a neighboring property, where no excavation is required as the driveway will sit above the current level, will the works be notifiable under the Party Wall Act?

No.

Make sure you don't get too close to their DPC if you're raising levels
Thank you for the reminder. There will be a gravel strip between the driveway and the wall of their house

Is there a minimum distance away from their wall that this gap needs to be? I've searched online and the information I am reviewing states that a gap should be between 10cm and 15cm between the wall and the driveway as a measure of good practice.
