Is my radiator leaking?

.some sort of inhibitor was added to to the system or a magnetic system filter? Plus filled with a solution of Corrosion Proofer.

Corrosion Proofer, is inhibitor, it is there (hopefullY), to prevent your steel radiators rusting from the inside out. The magnetic filter you (hopefully) have fitted, is a second line of defence, for the boiler, it is there to collect any flakes of rust (magnetite), that escape from your radiators, to prevent the tiny passages in a modern boiler, becoming choked with the magnetite.

This Mickey Mouse business of using water to heat a property with all the inherent issues around leakages etc.......I think I'd rather go back to 1984 and my first flat that used storage heaters on Economy 7. Has the plumbing industry regressed 40 years? Or is there an agenda?

You can pull the taps off of the sinks at my gym (with no effort) and they're connected by flexible hoses......awful.

Nowt much wrong with a wet heating system, always providing the system is properly installed, and maintained. E7 is fine, cheap to install, but expensive to run, and difficult to control, unless you can predict accurately how much warmth you might need next day.

A properly designed and installed Wet CH system will give many years of trouble free operation, and to be fair, it's rare for things to start leaking without a reason, e.g. 3rd party damage, poor installation, which has allowed corrosion over the years, or poor maintenance of the Boiler. (Granted modern boilers don't seem to have the Lifespan of their ancestors but that often down to poor quality manufacturing than anything else.)

E7 has its limitations, biggest of which is during cold weather and you've used up all the stored heat during the day, evening time when you need it most, you are having to pay full rate for the electricity needed!
