Thanks, so it looks like the diagram I’ve created based on information you’ve provided would work. Thank you.
My apologies I hadn't realised that image is your creation.

Yes it is how I suggest it's connected.

Because I have not seen it mentioned, ensure you are doing all this with "THE POWER OFF" and you have tested to ensure that there is no power there.

Of course, I will follow this. Thank you. I report back if it works.

Since I have to get that neural single further, ok to have singles in that enclosure (jb)? Just thinking about splitting it so a bit more than currently of outer grey insulation will be off so cable for neutral is longer to reach the spot. I hope it makes sense. Ta

Are you asking if it's ok to look like this

then yes it's fine.
If you're using the original switch cable to feed the receiver it may be easier to leave the cable in place and add the link in the L2 position I showed in purple

Thanks. This seems easier, is this correct on my diagram?

Can I use leftover 2.5mm cable (only brown - single) for that link?

I appreciate yours and everyone else’s help.

Isn't that how I said to do it in the first place

Edit, the link goes across the switch port not the light port.

Yes, but I would do the light and receiver part first, make sure it works with pull cord on, if all ok then remove the pull cord wire and fit the link.

I say that just incase you get it wrong, you don't want to link live to neutral by mistake.

Thanks, I’ll try this to be sure.
