No you'll remove the cable that goes into the light, leave the pull cord cable to start with remove it if the new sw works?How it’d try it with a pull cord on, since I’d be removing cable from pull cord to go into IN in the receiver? Thank you.

How many more times? You have a Perm feed at the pullcord switch cable.Thanks all. I’m not getting it honestly. I was also thinking about taking perm feed that goes from fan isolator, split this for perm feed to the kinetic receiver and connect lamp cable to out. Is this bad practice? It seems easier, for me at least.

can you post pics of the receiver and the wiring instructions that came with it?
If it does require perm L and N then this is worksView attachment 406663
picking N from the light position and L from the switch position
For exampleView attachment 406664A receiver of that style will require an enclosure with proper cable restraint/clamps so the earth wire is enclosed.
These surewires and other similar products are brilliant devices until something different is required.
