Not really no.Assuming that the diverter is faulty, would the radiator water not be diverted into the hot water system. I mean, if it diverts one way should it not also from time to time divert the other way too?




Get the diverter fixed first.oooh, another thought, could the heat exchanger be responsible somehow?

I thought it was established that it’s circulating around the heating system.so where is the hot water going? Hot water tap is open, boiler fires up, cold water comes out of the tap. What is the boiler heating up, and if it is water, where is it all going to?


You said the heating flow was getting warm when the hot water was running?no point do any radiators warm up when hot water taps are on, even when only cold water comes out of taps.
