Britain's going through a tough time at the moment. It's really bad for non-labour supporters, but far worse for those who've spent years telling everyone they know how great Labour are and how they'll save the country. Reality hasn't turned out well at all, they're all very upset and are getting quite grumpy about it. It's difficult or impossible for them to swallow their pride and admit that the religious cult they joined turned out to be all lies. They're currently hanging on in hope that it's all a short-term hiccup and utopia will arrive next week, next year or next political term. We all know it won't, but we have the luxury of free thought and haven't painted ourselves into a corner by telling everyone around us that the world would be all sunshine and rainbows as soon as Labour got elected.

If I somehow invented a magic racism meter that could attach to a helicopter that could accurately measure the racism levels of a population just by flying over them, then I'm absoutely certain that the peak levels would be seen whilst flying over Bradford and Birmingham and other lost cities, not over white or "gammon" areas.
