What do you class yourself as?
I don't buy in to the left/right stuff. I look at what they stand for and who they are. It boils down to who is the least worse choice to run the country and then decide if they can win. If they can't, I look at who is the best choice to keep out the worse choice.
Tories were always considered centre-right, but a lot of their policies were arguably left wing. Pension pot caps, Reduction in top rate of tax threshold, removal of personal allowance, reduction in tax free pensions contributions for highest earners etc.
In order of worse to least worse:
1. Green - they would basically destroy the country
2. Labour - their incompetence, means they are doing it more slowly than 1, but I like a few of their ideas.
3 Reform - they need to get their act together - some of their policies ideas are good, some bonkers
4 Lib Dem - Similar to Green, plus the screw everything up when they run councils.
5 Conservative - they tend not to do much, which keeps everything nice and stable. They have been the most successful part, probably for a reason. Kemi is growing on me.
Currently reform lead the polls, so they get the vote to keep 1 and 2 out. 4 and 5 don't have any chance of winning (currently).
