I havenever understood the qualification route to become a Dr in our country. If someone hasn't quite got the grades they will not be allowed into medical school to study, yet we import Drs from all over the world where most of them wouldn't meet our criteria for entry into our medical schools.

As long as the criteria for exiting with a degree in medicine are OK, what does it matter what the entry criteria are?

Some from places where even a pen and paper is considered a luxury item but yet turn out good Drs.
