The Vietnam war.

Australian and Korean troops also fought in Vietnam on behalf of the US

When they saw America, defeated, run away and abandon it to the Communist army, they must have felt they'd wasted their lives

Anyone seen Good morning Vietnam?

Not seen it for years, gonna have a watch over the weekend... :giggle:
I've not actually seen it, as I didn't care for Robin Williams, but I've got the soundtrack CD, as it has some good tunes, including '5 o'Clock World' by The Vogues.

There are some good Vietnam films, can't remember which is which as they all blend into one. 'Full Metal Jacket' is a classic, 'Apocalypse Now' overrated. Vietnam nostalgia was big business in America in the 80s.

And our forces lent a hand in Afghanistan.

When they saw America, defeated, run away and abandon it to the Taliban, they must have felt they'd wasted their lives.

There aren't many countries willing to help Trump in Iraq.

It will save them feeling much pain when America runs away, defeated, and abandons it.
