What strength.
If you sit outside in just a pair of shorts in 20 mins on a summer day you will be getting upto 25,000Iu
Your doctor has probably perscribed 1,000 iu at most which is almost usless.
But in high doses you should also take k2 with it. In the winter I take 8,000iu along with k2.
General rule is that if your shadow in the sun is longer than you are tall then youare not making enough.

No, I take 4,000iu. Bought myself. It has K2 with it which you need for good assimilation. Only been taking them a couple of weeks.

You mentioned you had too much in savings - May I ask what you’re saving for?

While I appreciate everyone one needs a bit of money for a rainy day, from what you describe, it feels like it’s raining for you right now mate. Spend a bit on yourself and improve your situation.

Also, being evicted could actually be a helpful thing in terms of housing…if you’re willing to be a bit of a pain to your current landlord and force him to evict you…then the council will have to act.

I want to leave my daughter money. I don't want to spend it on myself. All I need is a decent roof over my head.

My daughter is 19 and in Uni. I try to help as much as possible. She is my heart beat, my right arm. Me and her mum are really good friends (we were together for 31 years). All we both do is geared towards our daughter..

However, I’m sure your daughter would be happier if you used a bit of that money to sort yourself out and get a proper place of your own.

A happy / content / settled father will have a massive positive influence on her wellbeing in the future (not suggesting for a moment that you are not a positive influence now).

Failing that - just give her your savings now…then the council can’t say you’ve got too much money to help. [I appreciate you’d need to be ‘creative’ with the transfer of funds before someone says you’ve can’t do that]

He doesn't have a landlord he is subletting, as in his the subletteriee as it were

Depends how much you’ve got I guess? Withdraw it in cash to buy a car, or a holiday or gamble it away, lose it in a romance scam…obviously don’t actually do those things but money is easily ‘lost’.

I’m not sure how much it matters what the wording of the situation is…but ultimately the council/CAB will advise you what to do in order to get yourself in line for emergency support.
