I have a rainfall shower head fed by a 15mm copper pipe. The pipe runs up into the loft, then horizontally for about 60cm, before dropping vertically back down to the shower head connection.
I’m looking at adding an inline shower filter/water softener, but most of the products I’ve found are designed to fit between a standard shower hose and outlet using a G1/2" threaded connection with rubber seals.
One product I’ve been considering is this Hello Klean shower filter:

My idea is to install it either in the horizontal section of the 15mm copper pipe or in the vertical drop to the shower head. Ideally it may be best if I can install it on the horizontal run as there is a good amount of space and distance there to work with. I realise this may mean slightly increasing the pipe height to accommodate the filter.
What would be the best way to connect something like this into a 15mm copper pipe run? I was thinking along the lines of flexible push-fit connectors at each end, ideally something that converts from 15mm push-fit to the correct threaded fitting for the filter, so servicing or replacing the filter later would be easier.
