Quite surreal to read about the early stuff Graham Gouldman wrote, all whilst working in a menswear shop, lol.

An old favourite of mine from the 70's by Gary Shearston, couple of versions on youtube, one has good quality sound, but the one with poor quality sound features Pans People.

The Mindbenders continued after Wayne Fontana left, and with guitarist Eric Stewart taking over the vocals scored a huge hit with 'Groovy Kind Of Love'.

Eric was dissatisfied with the standard of northern recording studios in the 60s and, wanting to create better facilities for groups, invested money in Stockport's Inner City Studios, which, when renamed Strawberry Studios would become the best equipped studio outside London A few years down the line Eric became one of the most well-known faces in pop music.
