Please put me out of my misery - two by double switch in an old house - lots of dodge/cut wires

I have tried to follow forums and internet advice but I am stuck

I am trying to face the music of my old wiring. Hall lights, I think I have sorted the downstairs switch and the ceiling rose.
But the landing switch - which controls the 1st floor light, (and maybe? used to control the downstairs hall light - its been so long since I cocked it up I can't remember)

And coming in have
two cables upward
one has red wire and black wire (third is cut/not visible)
one cable has yellow wire and blue wire (third is cut and not visible)

The cable coming down from the landing light, yellow, black, red and blue wire

All signposting appreciated

and now, by doing this I seem to have stopped all my upstairs lights working....

Count is wrong, two yellows, and two blues and one black should mean three reds, I can only see two.

One of the reds coming in has been cut at the cable (bringing a blue and yellow in)

But i put some wires together (including in the ceiling rose) and now have upstairs lights, but not the hallway light...

Photo of the switch before you disconnected anything???

Not at all daft because without a lot more information he/she is going to need someone on site. Or this post will be an awfully long one

Unfortunately the wiring in the ceiling rose has also been changed by the OP.

Ahh, I just took that as they had just put existing wires randomly into terminals

Yes, clear as mud

@MattP124 post photos of the ceiling roses first. Need to get that sorted before anything else. But - as above - you need spark on site or this will take quite a few days.
