Well done wind

I was at a northern golf course last week.

An old boy was putting his bats into his boot, and asked how I getting on with my EV.

He said he was looking for one for his wife.

"We're both 78 and the environment won't really affect us anyway," he said, "but we have four grandchildren which it will, so we do what we can to not ruin it for them".

Which is an attitude a few on here would do well to embrace.

That’s an attitude 52% of the country took in 2016. (y) Some on here just look to the immediate future….

If they had that attitude in 1944 there would have been no D Day landings and we’d all be speaking German now.

Try to stay on thread, you poor old duffer (y)

Currently, Solar is 30% of UK load, and wind is 20%.

Not bad for a dull, rainy spell.

Well done renewables.

It's always nice to see the idiot Trump proved wrong.
