They didn't. Of the 800,000 Arabs who left Palestine only a quarter of that number were forced out. The bulk left on the advice of Jordan, Syria et al who advised them to leave for their own safety, promising them they could return once the Arab nations destroyed Israel.

After the 12 month 1948 war against Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt and Iraq, Israel won.

Reading your link,. there's certainly nothing to say the UN disagrees with me. Read your link carefully, the word 'expelled' is conspicuous by it's absence, 'displaced' is altogether different.
Also note that the UN offered the same terms for a two state solution as Israel (with a very small bias toward Israel as they owned more land than the Arabs).
The Arabs rejected this idea, the rest is history.

mass displacement and dispossession of Palestinians because if they didn't run they wouldn't survive the Israeli murdering gangs. They were chased out of Palestine, dispossessed of their land and homes, and the Israelis refuse to allow them back, despite numerous UN resolutions.
Jewish militias launched attacks against Palestinian villages, forcing thousands to flee.
You seem to be reading only the bits you can stomach and ignoring the rest.
