Seriously ????

Impacted bowls? I had the same as a young sprog. Our doc was a rugby player and had sausage fingers. My youngest suffered the same complaint as as a sprog too.

A few years ago I had campylobacter poisoning and went to the docs. She did the same but I was already in a bad way having been nailed to the loo for three days. Black lady - massive fingers - sore arris.
No it wasn't that. I had tonsillitis at the time and he said he was checking "glands". Two docs (one is my niece) have told me the connection to that is so remote there would have been other things tried first. There were some allegations against him. I didn't see him again before he died.

Glycerin suppositories are brilliant for the problem you/sprog had! Kids get smaller ones. I'd never heard of them until I was in hospital full of morphine. Get at any chemist.

The condition cleared up naturally as the body grew. Both very similar in age and duration, thankfully.

Oddly, he's been really poorly and off work all week with a suspected bacterial stomach infection.
