Andy’s wife is starting on a low for me.

I've heard King Andy on the radio today banging on about his £2 bus fare subsidy (more spending).

He's got a new accent now he's PM, he's gone as posh as his missus now is.

He's as fake as Starmer.

Sadly misogyny is never far below the surface and pops it's ugly head up repeatedly...
My post was about the irony that the wife of someone who professes to champion the poor working classes and who has just gifted them a whopping 86p a week rise by temporarily reducing bay on electricity, turning up on day one in an £850 frock. How is that misogynistic ?

If those poor people saved up all their 86p's, they too could buy that frock…….in 19 years time!

I have never got why the pms wife or husband even needs to be a "thing" appearing on the steps of number 10 greeting foreign leaders. Accompanying the pm on trips. Who pays for all that of that and does the pms spouse have an allocated budget.
Then next pm should be single and save the country some money

I was looking forward to Wes Streeting becoming PM, just to see what the older lefties would think of him kissing and holding hands with his bloke outside of downing street.

Actually that's just b*llux...

You're just trying to make political points on the back of your admitted misogyny...

And as to the 'working classes', you don't care do you...

After all you admitted to making money off the taxpayer for work you 'weren't going to do'...

Then you changed your tune when challenged to 'I'm entitled' to it...

Then it was 'I don't need it anyway'...

Then you told us you frittered it away on holidays and a car...

And then sneered when challenged on your greed...

Look at yourself and ask yourself whether you should even be posting a criticism over a woman's dress...

No doubt you'll come back with one of your usual very stale replies ;)

It’s not

What "admitted misogyny?"
And as to the 'working classes', you don't care do you...
Why do you say that - I spent the last 20 years of my working life training and educating the 'working classes' - in particular, the ones that everybody else had given up on.
After all you admitted to making money off the taxpayer for work you 'weren't going to do'...
Everyone that received furlough was making money off the taxpayer for work they weren’t going to do. In fact, if you did work for an employer while receiving furlough from the same employer, you were committing a criminal offence.
Then you changed your tune when challenged to 'I'm entitled' to it...
I was entitled to it whether you liked it or not.
Then it was 'I don't need it anyway'...
I didn’t need it. You got furlough whether you needed it or not. Like some people don’t 'need' their full wages. If everyone 'needed' their whole wages, nobody would be able to save up for a rainy day, would they? You bragged about your £950k of property, pensions, investments and cash assets a while back. Presumably you got those assets with money you didn’t 'need'?
Then you told us you frittered it away on holidays and a car...
Is buying a car and going on holiday considered "frittering" in your book? Do you own a car or go on holiday? Is it not "frittering" when you do it?
And then sneered when challenged on your greed...
Only at you.
Look at yourself and ask yourself whether you should even be posting a criticism over a woman's dress...
I wasn’t criticising the dress. I was criticising the optics of the working man’s champions wife rubbing poor peoples noses in it with an £850 frock although I do agree with the poster who said it didn’t fit her anywhere.
No doubt you'll come back with one of your usual very stale replies
Do you consider the above replies 'stale'? How strange.

in fairness she would have made a packet as a an electric vehicle charging network director when the Clean Air Zone's were being rolled out, in cities like manchester - total coincidence Andy was mayor, no connection whatsoever
Absolute coincidence agree nothing to see here. They are working class for the working class, i mean look at Starmer, on paper they're all... minted.

According to you

The point is why the need to start a topic about her clothes at all?

So what role is she trying to fill, and what concern is it of yours?

She just happens to be the wife of our current PM...

Are you going to comment on the 'fashion sense' (as you see it) of every leader's partner?
So you have never seen someone wearing something on TV and commented on it?

TBH, it seems you're calling me and Mottie out as misogynists. But I'm not sure why.

However, whatever I say, you're not going to change your mind, so I'm not going to bother trying to argue with you.

Are you going to comment on the 'fashion sense' (as you see it) of every leader's partner?
Yes I would say so if they wore ill fitting clothes that made them look like they are wearing a glove, only natural really.

Are you single?

Your posts suggest you should be
The pms other half should have nothing do with the pms roll. No accompanying on trips or any of it, why was she walking down downing Street waving at the crowds. She wasn't elected, actually neither was Andy by the general public to the roll of pm.

Would you prefer to see perhaps Trump turn up with Stormy Daniel’s?
