Hi there,

I need some help finishing wiring. I’ve got 5 PIRs - Entrance Hall (which is entrance and exit - when I walk into the house and the house is alarmed it doesn’t go off), Lounge, Kitchen, Utility Room and Study. I would like to ideally see them all individually in SmartThings.

I have started re-wiring into a Konnected Conversion Kit. I have an old Scantronic 9450 alarm and have done the following:

* AUX +/1 (black and red wire) into Konnected device (12V) - device has green light on
* Zone 1 (blue and yellow wire) into Konnected device (Zone 1 - currently this is both the Study and Kitchen)
* Zone 2 (blue and yellow wire) into Konnected device (Zone 2 - currently this is both the Lounge and Utility Room)
* Bell (yellow wire) into Konnected device (Alarm -)

However, I’ve still got the following wires and not sure what to do with them:

* Anti-Tamper (white and green wire)
* Entry / Exit (blue and yellow wire - this is the Hall).
* Loudspeaker (x2 yellow wire)
* TR (blue wire)
* Capped off x1 (white and green wire)
* Capped off x1 (white and green wire)
* Capped off x1 (white wire)
The capped off cables I think are the other parts of the rooms above eg gives me a chance to connect each room individually.

I have disconnected the mains and the battery. And not touching the 21VAC purple wire.

Can you help me finish the re-wiring please?

Your entry exit will need to go into a zone. Doesnt look like this konnected thing has ant tamper inputs. And looks like it only has a siren or piezo output (no speaker)

Yes that's right - I can move the entry / exit.

The Konnected device has six zones (+/-) and then 12+/-, alarm +/- and Aux-.

The issue I've got is that the zones on the previous alarm grouped multiple PIRs. For each zone (plus entry/exit) it looks like I've got a black and red wire (power) then yellow, green, blue and white wire. I can't work out which go together for each PIR - I want to split the PIRs into the Konnected device.

I would imagine that the alarm contacts on all the pirs are looped together on one cable, and the other pair will be the tamper loop. You will have to look inside the pir's

Yes that's right. Looks like it's that way.
