Do they still have yellow phone boxes? , donkeys years ago I bought some shares in Kingston Communications as there was takeover speculation at the time and that was when I heard about the yellow phone boxes, never quite got my head round how or why they had their own telecoms company.

It is Kingston Communications, the only privately owned telephone company in the UK. It still is today. Although the telephone boxes are mainly used as libraries and for housing defibrillator's, still cream coloured

It went up and everyone was flurrying around taking loans out to buy them. Then the big flaw with KIT hit the news and suddenly the shares plummeted to valueless.

I know himm well as he lived a couple of doors down our street. I just assumed funerals was big business as he had bought a new porche 4X4 for his wife along with a brand new camper van for himself. A brand new for pick up truck for his son and a Tesla for his daughter. I can now see how. I used to walk with him some nights with his dogs when I took ours out. He was a really nice bloke.

If you were ever embarrassed (always) to tell anyone that you were from Hull, you would use the full title of Kingston Upon Hull and say the Hull part really fast. It is it's Sunday best name.

yes, lovely isn't it, that is the Hull equivalent of a blue flag beach. That beautiful building disguised as a medical center is actually a tidal barrier.
