What have you bought today?

I had a nice kettle I think it was kenwood

When that packed up up i bought a Tesco rapid boil

The lid only opens a little way and the indicator isbarely noticeable

Apart from that it does the boiling and switching off fairly well

Our kettles have been Which? Best Buys for years.

IDK why I bother. Every single one has ended up either noisy or, more commonly, taking absolutely ages to switch off.

Thus the eco kettle which only takes a tiny amount of electricity to boil a cupful, ends up using a load more because the bloody thing takes eons to switch off.
Bought a Scoville digital kettle at Asda recently for £20...

Quick, quiet and you can set the stop temperature...

Saves waiting for your coffee to cool down, and takes the guesswork out of water temp for making dough!

Does the toast taste better....pppffftttt
Yes much better, I have tried them all, you could put a blindfold on me and put a row of toasts in front of me and I would be able to pick out the one that came out of the smeg.

I don’t get lounge passes with my Amex…but I do get companion vouchers, so when we fly next week Clare comes with me for free.

My flight was free as well (air miles) but I did pay the taxes…so it qualifies for this thread :D

We’ll get access to 12 lounges between us on that trip ;)

How much do you turn over on your Amex to get that ?

I used to have the silver charge card, but it became expensive

I negotiated 5 years lux car government spite tax off of the price, plus the price of a 4 years servicing package plus another £3k on top of that but still, ouch!

Now if I could only find where I stashed those savings………
