TV aerial refitting. How much!

Mrs Mottie will go mad when she finds out I’ve asked him. Last time I had him round here working on a ladder about 30 years ago, we were taking out a large single pane of glass from the bathroom window to fit a double glazed unit in. He was on the ladder outside, I was inside, removed the beading and as he was tapping from outside, the ladder slid away and he fell from height and landed flat on his back on top of it. I ran straight downstairs and out the back and he just got up and apologised to Mrs Mottie as he had broken one of her tea cups that was on the patio!

Wasn't Mr O'Reilly - who Basil Fawlty used - was it?

Sorted. Or soon will be. Dunno why I had it in my head to get an aerial installer out. Phoned up my builder mate, asked him if he had a good sturdy set of tall ladders. "Yep". Next question, how good are you at working at the very top of them…. :ROFLMAO:

He's got them on his van and will call in either tonight or tomorrow on his way home from a job and sort it out for me.

All sorted. A cup of coffee, a natter and he used 8mm rawlbolts instead of screws. I helped by footing the ladder. ;)
