Been out and bought a dinner suit and a couple of dress shirts for the black tie nights on our cruise. I gave my old dinner suit and dress shirts to the charity shop a few years ago as they, err, shrunk in the wardrobe. I was just going to take a normal suit for the formal nights but I thought, sod it, just get one, I don’t want to show Mrs Mottie up dressed like an office worker while she’s in her finery.

There is some good news though - my bow tie and patent leather shoes still fit!
