Funniest thing with that was, with all her lights on the voltage dropped to 213 volts so had to get an old colleague to up the tapping of the local substation transformer, now 228v on load, 246 off load ;)

And its all on a green tariff so no dent in the environment ;)

ooooh all that copper £$€£$€£$€ . . . . whats your address mate?

On simple aesthetic terms, it's just horrible.

You should have to fail some sort of test before you're allowed to do that sort of thing.

who took the pic while you were standing on the garage roof?

ITV Westcountry 7.30pm-Taste Watch.
A look at all the overdone houses in the county this Christmas.

The chap across the road from me does his house along with his neighbour. It is horrible seeing all the flashing through your curtains/blinds.

He does have a wishing well out front, and encourages donations which he gives to the local hospice.

Begs the question.......how much does he spend yearly on replacing lighting sets and lamps etc, how much lecky does he use, and then his time...........surely he would be better just sending a cheque directly to the hospice!

IMO little is more. I have a couple trees covered in LED twinkling sets. Very energy efficient, and far from tacky.

As for a green tarrif........the lecky still comes from the same place, but if it makes you feel better that you are paying a company who directs some of their money towards renewable.......

It is a sick world when there are such sad ***** about.
Makes you want to vomit.
