Hi All, hoping this might be the place for a sensible answer.
My main upstairs toilet flushes every time but just quite slowly, i mean i don't have to pump the flush handle to get it going (in fact it flushes first time every time), but the water flowing into the main pan is pretty slow so it doesn't ..... well flush much away on the first or even second flush, grrrr.
(hope too this is the correct forum location for such a question).
Incidentally, the cistern fills nice and quick each time, though it does only syphon about half (say 4 litres) each time. The pan, cistern and plumbing are only about 3-or-4 years old too.

Any help would be much appreciated

Change the siphon in your toilet cistern after checking the flow rate to your bog which may be impaired by the isolation valve fitted to your cold supply to your toilet, if there is one.

You can also set your siphon for a bigger flush but I`m not there & don`t know wether this is possible for your actual siphon so have a look. ;)

The FAQ-23 reads well.
But i would have thought a torn diaphragm would have made it difficult to flush in the first place ??
Still, its only a few quid for a new syphon kit, plus a few hours of my own time, lol

Thanks guys
