I have a potterton envoy boiler, can't locate the model no.

Just wanted to know if I could vary the temp of the hot water it only has a switch that says H-0-L and a reset button.

I was hoping to locate the manual for it but can't find any online ?

H(igh)-O(ff)-L(ow)
no other temp adj on this boiler.

Think H is 82 and low around 70 degrees C
Also check cylinder stat is set around 60c and if there is a gate valve on cylinder return check it is open enough to allow circulation

The Envoy Temperatures are: H=82C; L=60C

H is intended for the winter, when CH is on; L for the summer when the HW only is on.

Is this the only way you can control the HW temperature?

No motorized valves and cylinder thermostats?

The immersion thermostat will be on the top, usually as part of the immersion heater. We don't mean this thermostat!

We are talking about a thermostat on the side of the HW cylinder, usually about a third of the way up, which will be connected by a cable into a large junction box. The wall thermostat, programmer and motorized valve(s) will also connect into this junction box.

If you don't have a thermostat on the side of the HW cylinder and motorized valves, you will not be able to control the HW temperature.

Gunslinger many thanks for this :D

Can't access at work but will try when I get home.

Once again tnks

ok, any problems let me know, i'm home all day so should see any replies here ... i'm also uploading a whole bunch more of these things but it's gonna take all day to do and structure everything in the Rapidshare folder as i want, once i've finished i'll make one post with a list of included manuals and the folder link to them

i'll also be adding a free copy of WinRAR to the folder and a stand alone PDF reader so you'll have everything you need to put files on to removable media for use out on a job
