Will a mini-digger go down a fairly shallow set of steps down the side of my house ? I'd estimate the angle of them to be 20-30 degrees, nowhere near as steep as an internal staircase.

(If not, where can I bulk buy anabolic steroids)

depends how wide it is and how wide the steps are.

why not ask the people you intend to hire it from?

Going down is the easy bit, getting one back up at the end of the job can be a bit harder, I know :(

At that sort of angle you should be OK, best to lay a couple of layers of scaffold boards over the steps and you can also use the bucket to pull the machine up at the same time as driving.

no problem. use the front bucket for stability. either sling it out full stretch behind you - as a counterbalance, or use it in front of you - and let it drag on the floor as a kind of steadying crutch.

easy peasy. go for the biggest digger you can fit as well. if youre not confident get a digger and driver in to do it for you
