Why Not Different Colours For Switch Cables?

Looking at the number of posts on here that relate to problems identifying switch cables in lighting circuits got me thinking. Why not a future change to the regs that specifies different colours for switch cables only-maybe brown, brown/blue stripe, plus existing earth?
This would also remove the need to tag the switch neutral core with red tape when installing (which, based on the lighting circuits I've worked on, is only done about half the time anyway). Think of the collective hours spent across the industry fiddling with little bits of PVC tape!
I can't believe no-one's thought of this before so am I missing something?
Should I patent it now?

Whats wrong with brown/brown?

Why not patent something more useful, like cable with one brown core and one other colour that isn't blue?   For what it's worth, when I'm wiring up stuff inside boxes of electronics I use white for switched live. :) :) :)

Are there conventions for colours of live/switched live/neutral in 3+E?

I'm particularly interested because I will soon beconnecting a thermostat (but this one has old colours Red/Yellow/Blue)

It's also another roll of cable to buy at an extortionate price, and carry around from job to job. It's not a bad idea in itself, but if people can't remember (or be bothered) with a little bit of PVC tape now, how would using a different type of cable altogether be any better?

Thanks!

So in my case (non-harmonised)
where red, yellow blue = brown, black grey

Brown - permanent live (Red)

Black - switched live (with brown sleeve) (Yellow with Red sleeve)

Grey - neutral (with blue sleeve) (Blue with Black sleeve)

edited per Holmslaw's advice

Twin-Brown is around, but my wholesaler doesn't shift a lot of it. Great for the new-build guys, but for me, its just not worth carrying it and I don't find any problems with carrying a loop of brown sleeve along with my G/Y sleeve :)

We carry G/Y sleeve, Brown sleeve, Blue sleeve & twin brown....
