I want to convert a downstairs room into a clockroom, but the fuse board for the property is located in a cupboard within the room. Will this prevent me from doing this or is it ok if it is in a cupboard?

Cheers :?

Will the clockroom (sic!!) contain a fixed bath or shower?

If so, you need to re-site the consumer unit.

If not, there are no restrictions.

Many thanks, only basin and WC so should be fine.

You've gone for the flush-mounting version!

I've never actually installed a clock point in all my years.

I have removed plenty though.

Does anyone still use them?

Same, removed a few. Not exactly installed one, but replaced one in a primary school. Its also the only time I've seen one in use!

Duracell have made huge leaps forward in battery technology since then 8)
