Hello,

Are the DNO likely to be upset if a small junction box is attached to their board?

The spark had to extend the wires that supply the garage up to the ceiling level where the CU has been relocated and he has used a jctbox attached to the board.
The alternative would have been to chase into the walls either side of the wall (attached garage).

it's only screwed on the board.
the cu used to be there too but that has been moved to ceiling level.

i'm asking cause i'm thinking of asking for a cutout / meter upgrade but don't want to take a day off work for them to show up and not to the work because of this reason.

I don't know who your DNO is, but I would be very suprised im mine took offence to a JB on their board.

It is usually when you fill the board with your stuff and they can't fit their stuff on that they start getting upset.
