Why should it be a good thing, if people really are that thick and are not capable of working out things for themselves?

I would wager that the probability of injury or death through not wearing a seat belt is still less in a car than it is from the act of riding a motorbike, so why not ban them, then, to "protect people from themselves"?

They do say if they were invented today they wouldn't be allowed on the road. They should be banned unless they are fitted with a roll cage.

I consider myself a law abiding citizen,wear my seat belt,done use a mobile while driving,dont speed ect ect,but if your local bobby has not got his quota you will get nicked for any small offence
