im gathering your not a midget so usually is a very vast question. it could be any depth. most are arms length but you need a long stop cock key only about £15 at most places
you'll need to know what type/size of stopcock first.
Thats the problem, i`ve dug out as much muck as i can physically reach and there`s no sign of a stop cock
your probably looking at about 750mm deep.
