I think she should, but in keeping with her political philosophy it should be subbed out to a foreign contractor for the lowest price. May be they could have a romanian gypsy driving the hearse for minimum wage.

Only if we can burn the cow now.

So she was clever enough to take a lot of money from rich people like you. Well done Maggie.
We need someone like her in charge now to cut the fat cats down to size.
The Centrica chief needs the first cut. 1 milion per year ?. No one needs that amount of money to survive.
The extra funds can then be used to purchase woolly jumpers for the needy population in fuel poverty.

as long as her grave has a large flat stone on it.

Hear Hear!

(And I'm from Grantham originally too - there's still a big hoo-haa going on as to whether there should be a statue, really splitting opinion - I'm in the NO camp...)

Minumum wage? Such a luxury wouldn't be in keeping with political philosophy I'm afraid.

I think she should 'lie in state' for a while...

So we could all file past....

And spit on the b*tch!

(Trafalgar square, 6pm, first saturday after her joyous demise - come and 'celebrate'... )

It's interesting that all this vitriol is reserved for a woman...had a bloke actually had the balls to do what she did, I'm sure that the condemnation would be much more muted.

This present load of buffoons in Westminster are causing far more hurt and pain to the country as a whole than she ever (apparently) did, yet I don't see the same comments being made towards Bliar and Brown.

Oh I have the same feelings for Bliar...

Him and maggie stuffed in a 'family plot' would do just nicely thank-you!

In the 20th century, other than Churchill, Thatcher was the only one who was unequivocal in her stance, said what she meant, meant what she said and then followed up - it was only the (male) hand-wringers who watered down so many things.

There is no one, other than Winnie, who would, for example, have taken the decision - as awful as it was necessary - to take on and sink the Belgrano. No one else would have had the gumption to even take on the Argies, the Bennies would have been hung out to dry and speaking Spanish by now.

The problem, with gobmint of any colour, is when they get an unassailable majority and they then think they're invincible. She too fell into that trap, unfortunately. And we can only hope that, despite Liabour's current intention to make (and succeeding in making) themselves the most unpopular gobmint in the history of the universe, that Dave et alia don't get in with too much of a thumping majority in a couple of years.

My comments also apply equally to Blair and the current buffoon who's name I can never remember ... Gordon Beige, Gordon Grey?

There is no difference whatsoever between the 3 of them IMO ... Burn the lot.

And I don't need silver bullets ... I wear a garlic necklace and a crucifix
